These are ONLY available in light smoke and dark smoke. They are more resistant to power washing \/ automatic car washes. They are still removable if done slowly and on purpose. Hair dryer or heat gun recommended. Clean the surface of the head light. Place the material down in the corner closest to the door and work your way towards the front. Use a wet installation. A water \/ soap mix is the best. This allows you to slide it into position. Use your fingers or something very soft to squeegee out bubbles. Best to allow the vehicle to remain in the sun for some time. Once dry it is okay to power wash or run through an automatic car wash. You can use light heat from a hairdryer to help you dry out the water and encourage the vinyl to go exactly where you want it. DO NOT use too much heat. Also wet the bottom of the vinyl. This will help you move it in place and center it up. Once you've gotten it aligned, use your friend to apply heat to the material. This dries out the material to make it adhere again and also allows it to be stretched. Do not heat up the material too much. In general, if the heat burns you, it is too hot. The corners need to be heated up the most and require the most stretching. You don't have to use a squeegee to install this product. You can stretch and massage out creases with your fingers. You can apply this the back side of the overlay and the lens if you want. This allows you to move the overlay around and also squeegee out any air bubbles once you get it in the correct spot. We just use our fingers because we know that won't scratch the material.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApply the overlay and align the larger portion. Once you have the aligned, check the smaller top area. Once completely satisfied, start pushing out the water and air bubbles. You can make small adjustments and force the vinyl to go exactly where you want it to go. That can be done even more easily with a little heat. You are basically correcting an initial alignment that was slightly off. Rule of thumb is that if you are burning your fingers, you might be burning the vinyl. Clean the front surface and around the back side. The material you are working with is sticky, but can be pulled back up carefully to reposition if required. You want to align the bottom, straight edge of the vinyl with the straight portion of the trim. Center it and begin to apply it. Make sure there is a straight line across the bottom and the vinyl is long enough to reach the opposite edge. Once you have found the correct position, apply heat. This helps the vinyl adhere to the surface better and will allow it to stretch it across the top, conforming it to the curves of this trim. Do not allow the vinyl to crease, continue to stretch it using a combination of pulling and heat. A good rule of thumb is that you should not apply much more heat than it would take to burn your hand.
