BRONCO Grille Outlined Letter Overlays V2.1

Here's an easy way to change the color of your grille letters.  This DIY kit contains two full sets of letters.  Just follow our installation video for some tips on how to get it all done.

Version 2 gives you an outline color.  We do this by overlaying vinyl on top of another color.  It takes time, but the results seem to be better than printed graphics when it comes to longevity and durability.

Why Multiple Listings?

Our main V2 listing has the most popular combinations.  This V2.1 listing is because we can only have 100 combinations per listing.

If you want our V1 Grille Overlays which are just ONE color only, please click here:  V1 Grille Overlays.

Don't see a color combination, just use the contact form to see if we can add it.

NOTE:  Does not fit Bronco Sport.  Please see our other products for Sport grille overlays.  Sold as 2 complete sets (1 backup).  Some small bubbles may be visible at close distances.  This is due to one layer overlaying another, however we painstakingly do one letter at a time to minimize this.  Please see photos.

Badlands Orange is the closest vinyl color we could find to the interior of the Badlands.  In certain light it looks very similar.  In darker light it looks a little lighter, but is much closer than a standard orange.  Badlands Grey is close to the dash color.

ORANGE in this listing is normal orange which is darker than our Badlands Orange.

Clean the application area to prepare it for installation.

NOTES:  We recommend that the installation area be free of wax and not under direct sunlight.
Some will choose to clean the application area with rubbing alcohol which is okay.

"Rubbing alcohol will not damage car paint if it is diluted to between 10% and 15%. Since rubbing alcohol evaporates quickly, it doesn't damage car paint."

  • Microfiber
  • Detailing Spray
  • Soapy Water
  • Heat Gun or Hair Dryer

Wet installs require one drop of dish or hand soap in a cup of water.  Apply to the vinyl so that the first attempt doesn't make the vinyl permanently stick to the surface.  Then you can slide it around and push out the extra water once it is in place with your fingers.

Try doing the install in the shade so it doesn't heat up the vinyl rapidly.  Keep a hair dryer around if you want to apply light heat to dry it out once properly aligned.  Otherwise you can park it back in the sun and push down the corners.  Please make sure all the letters are dry before driving the vehicle.
