Clean the application area to prepare it for installation. Choose a relatively low humidity day and 70-80 degree weather if possible. Any variance from this will affect the installation.
NOTES: We recommend that the installation area be free of wax and not under direct sunlight. Some will choose to clean the application area with rubbing alcohol which is okay.
"Rubbing alcohol will not damage car paint if it is diluted to between 10% and 15%. Since rubbing alcohol evaporates quickly, it doesn't damage car paint."
- Detailing Spray
- Soapy Water / StickerFab Application Fluid
- Heat Gun or Hair Dryer
Wet installs require one drop of dish or hand soap in a cup of water or our StickerFab Application Fluid. Apply to the vinyl so that the first attempt doesn't make the vinyl permanently stick to the surface. Then you can slide it around and push out the extra water once it is in place with your fingers.
Try doing the install in the shade so it doesn't heat up the vinyl rapidly. Keep a hair dryer around if you want to apply light heat to dry it out once properly aligned. Otherwise you can park it back in the sun and push down the corners. Please make sure all the letters are dry before driving the vehicle or using the object it has been applied to.
Adding small amount of heat to the vinyl after positioned can help it dry out faster and to wrap the edges if they are overlapping the sides.
Frodo - Frodo Baggins is a fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkien's writings, and one of the protagonists in The Lord of the Rings.
I’m really glad there were two “O”s as I messed the first one up. These are a small bit challenging to apply without any ripples but with the color matching it looks great!
Arrived quickly. Thought it was a waste to have an extra “O” but turns out I found a use for it. The Bronco Raptor logo on the back is just plain black. I have a laser so I’m cutting the small letters “R A P T O R” to make it pop like the “ F O R D” on the front grille. Can’t wait to get it finished.
The letters fit perfect and looked OEM, the color match was great. I got quite a few compliments on them right away and then everyone now just assumes it came that way because it looks so good.
