FitCamX CPL Filter — Anti-Glare Circular Polarizing Lens for Rear Camera
Rear dashcam footage has its own glare problem: reflections off the rear windshield, interior surfaces, and bright trailing headlights at night can all wash out the image exactly when you need it most. The FitCamX Rear CPL Filter is a circular polarizing lens that mounts directly over your FitCamX rear camera, cutting through reflections and delivering cleaner, more usable footage.
It works just like polarized sunglasses — by filtering out horizontally-reflected light. The result is sharper rear footage with less glare, better contrast in bright conditions, and license plates that are actually legible when it counts.
What It Does
-
Cuts glare from the rear windshield and interior surfaces — the main cause of hazy rear dashcam footage
-
Improves license plate legibility — critical for insurance claims and incident documentation
-
Manually adjustable polarization angle — rotate to find the sweet spot for your specific vehicle and mounting position
-
Protects your rear camera lens — acts as a barrier against dust, fingerprints, and minor scratches
Installation
Attaches with pre-applied 3M adhesive — no drilling, no wiring, no disassembly. Clean the lens surface, peel, press, and rotate to adjust the polarization angle. Takes under a minute.
Compatibility
Designed exclusively for FitCamX dashcams and fits the rear camera only. Compatible with FitCamX models for a wide range of vehicles including the Ford Bronco, Toyota Land Cruiser, Land Rover Defender, and more. If you have a FitCamX rear-facing camera, this lens will fit.
Note: Not compatible with front cameras. One lens per order. Looking for the front version? Shop the FitCamX Front CPL Filter here.
Why Add a CPL Filter to Your Rear Camera?
Rear footage is often the most important — it captures tailgaters, rear-end incidents, and parking lot hits. A CPL filter is a $23.99 upgrade that makes that footage significantly more reliable and usable. If you already have a FitCamX rear camera, there's no reason not to add this.
