Each letter is designed to fill the exact footprint of the raised "PLATINUM" area on your tailgate, so alignment is effortless. Clean the surface, peel the backing, and press each piece into place — the whole kit installs in about 15 minutes with no tools and no drilling.
- Clean the embossed tailgate letters with isopropyl alcohol and let dry.
- Peel the backing from each overlay piece.
- Set each letter onto its matching raised area and press firmly.
- Apply even pressure across each piece to seat the 3M adhesive.
