With the vehicle off, lower the glovebox and locate the connector on the right side of the gateway module. Disconnect it and install the device inline, taking care not to pull the factory wires too hard.

Locate the gateway module behind the diagnostic port in the driver's footwell. With the vehicle off, unplug the connector on the back of the module and attach the Autostop Eliminator inline. Secure the electronics housing with a zip tie to an adjacent harness — away from sharp edges and without pulling the wires tight.
