Your Cruiser or 4Runner's Suspension, Made Intelligent — FOX 3.2 Factory Race Live Valve
Planted on the highway, compliant on the trail, and it switches between the two 400 times a second — without you touching a dial.
Not a Conventional Coilover Kit
A conventional shock makes you pick one tune and live with the compromise everywhere you drive. FOX Live Valve removes the trade-off. It monitors terrain and your driver inputs 400 times a second and controls damping at all four corners of the vehicle, so you get the right feel on pavement, gravel roads, rock crawling and everything in between.
On the road it senses speed and pitch and locks in support — less dive under braking, less roll in corners, more stability at speed. When the surface turns rough it frees up compliance for ledges, sand and washouts so the tires stay on the ground. It's the suspension the 250-series platform has been waiting for: genuinely comfortable daily, genuinely capable when the pavement ends.

How Live Valve Works
-
Always sensing — terrain and driver inputs are read 400 times per second
-
On-road: damping firms up automatically for control, stability and less body motion
-
Off-road: damping opens up for compliance, travel and tire contact
-
Fully automatic — it adapts faster than any manual adjuster could
-
Custom Mode: Rock Crawling — a dedicated mode for slow, technical terrain
-
Software-defined — tune and manage the system through the FOX mobile app (U.S. and Canada)

⚙️ Fitment & Installation — Read Before Ordering
Each vehicle has its own part number — choose your vehicle in the option selector so you receive the correct kit. Live Valve is a full-vehicle electronic suspension system, so professional installation by a qualified suspension shop is strongly recommended, followed by a wheel alignment check. FOX also advises installing shocks as a matched set and verifying clearance with any other aftermarket suspension, wheels or tires.

FAQ
|
What is Live Valve and how is it different from standard shocks? Standard shocks use a fixed damping tune. Live Valve is electronic: it reads terrain and driver inputs 400 times per second and adjusts damping at all four corners, so the suspension is always matched to what you're doing.
|
Does this kit include both front and rear? Yes. This is a full-vehicle kit — front coilovers and rear shocks in one matched set. Live Valve works as a complete four-corner system, so the kit is sold front and rear together.
|
|
Which option do I choose? Select your vehicle: 2025+ Toyota 4Runner (883-06-273), 2024+ Toyota Land Cruiser 250 (883-06-267) or 2024+ Lexus GX 550 (883-06-272). Each is built specifically for that chassis.
|
What ride height does it give me? The kit is engineered for 2-3" of front lift and 0-2" of rear lift.
|
|
Does it fit the hybrid 4Runner? FOX lists hybrid (FHEV) as well as gas 4Runner platforms, across 4WD, AWD and RWD, for the 2025-2026 model years.
|
Do I need the mobile app? The system adapts automatically on its own. The FOX mobile app adds tuning and modes such as Rock Crawling, and is available in the United States and Canada.
|
|
Can I install it myself? Because it's a full-vehicle electronic suspension kit, we strongly recommend installation by a qualified suspension shop. The FOX owner's manual covers tuning, installation and service, and an alignment check afterward is recommended.
|
How is Live Valve different from the 3.2 Factory Race passive shocks? Both use the 3.2" Factory Race platform. The passive shocks have a fixed (adjustable) tune; Live Valve adds electronic, real-time damping control and a full-vehicle kit.
