The JB4 isn't a throttle booster or a placebo — it actively adjusts boost pressure, ignition timing, air-fuel ratios, and fuel trims using real-time data through a full CANbus connection. That means performance gains comparable to an ECU flash, without ever touching the ECU or risking a bricked tune.

The F-150 JB4 uses one of four wiring harnesses depending on your charge-pipe and intake-manifold MAP sensors. Select the correct harness in the dropdown above. Sensor arrangements are vehicle-specific — the guide below covers common applications, but always confirm on your own truck first.

Will this work on my locked ECU?
Yes. The JB4 is fully compatible with locked ECUs. It works between engine sensors and the ECU — it never accesses or modifies the ECU itself. |

Up to 100whp and 120wtq to the wheels on a stock EcoBoost running pump gas (91+ octane). More with supporting mods, higher octane, or E85 blends. |
How do I know which harness to pick?
Check your charge-pipe and intake-manifold MAP sensors and match them to the V1/V1.5/V2/V3 guide above. Model year is a starting point, but sensors vary — confirm on your truck. Message us if you're unsure before ordering. |
Is it reversible / will it affect my warranty?
Fully reversible — unplug and remove, and the vehicle returns to 100% stock. It's not VIN locked and leaves no trace on the ECU. Consult your dealer regarding warranty; the JB4's removable nature is a key advantage here. |
