3D Carbon 2015-2021 WRX / STI Interior Lower Door Protection Kit
This overlay was originally designed in Japan and brought over to the US by us. If you already have some scuff marks on the lower part of your doors or want to prevent paint damage, this product is a great solution. Those soft plastics really can't take a beating without some scuffing occurring over time. The subtle 3D texture is nice modification but not an eyesore.
Sold as a set of 4 pieces. Enough to do one whole vehicle.
This material is durable and will last for years. I source the vinyl for these products from US suppliers. They are often made in the US or Europe. Material standards are high.
For the 3D Carbon material, do not apply wax. Just clean with normal soap and water.

Dragon Wrap™ Carbon Fiber Films (3D Carbon) is a 5.6 mil calendered vinyl film featuring a clear repositionable permanent acrylic adhesive on an air-egress liner. This film has excellent dimensional stability, outstanding durability and outdoor performance.
This repositionable permanent adhesive offers minimal initial bond growing to permanent bonds that facilitates application of large graphics. The air egress liner also aids in large graphic application. - Minimum application temperature is 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
Up to 5 year durability outdoors. Rated EXCELLENT for WATER RESISTANCE, HUMIDITY RESISTANCE, and SOLVENT RESISTANCE.
INSTALLATION
Simply clean the lower area of your door card. Allow to dry and then apply these custom cut pieces. Make sure your door card is free from products like Armor All prior to install. Use of light heat from a hair dryer can increase adhesion.
If you're not confident with your positioning you can do a wet install with slightly soapy water (hand soap or dish soap, 1 drop mixed with a cup of water).

This kit works well at covering up some exisiting scratches on the lower door card and protecting it from future scuffs. My only gripe is that the material does not like to be repositioned multiple times as it will eventually stretch and deform if it is done too much. I suggest holding both ends firmly (but not pulling too tight) and lining up both sides before pressing it down. The material can be adjusted but each time it is pulled back up it will stretch some which will mess up the carbon fiber print and eventually make it so it will no longer fit as it was designed. Stickerfab was kind of enough to send me a new kit after my driver's side became really deformed from the stretching on install.
