Fresh out of the box your liner won't lay perfectly flat — that's normal and temporary. Set it on a flat floor with a weight (a book works great) in each corner. After about 15 minutes it relaxes and stays flat; in cold weather, move it to a heated area to speed things up. Then set it in the cargo area, fold it a few times at the fold lines to flex the joints, push the front lip up against the seat and lift the rear lip so it sits flush against the hatch — that seals off the gap between the liner and hatch for full-coverage protection. Want access to your tie-downs? Just trim the inner part of the oval at each corner.
Cleaning tip: A damp cloth or sponge does the job. If you need a cleaner, 409® or Glass Plus® work well. Avoid Armor All®, Son-of-a-Gun® or similar dressings — they make the liner slick.
