Why You Need a Catch Can
Turbocharged Toyota motors can suffer from oil-control problems — oil and contaminants blow through and coat the intercooler and charge piping, gunk up intake valves, lower effective octane, and degrade performance over time. The higher your boost and the more miles you add, the worse it gets.
The BMS oil catch can filters that oily vapor out before it can accumulate, keeping your intake tract clean and your engine running at its best.

Designed Right Where Others Fall Short
Many catch cans mount on the hot/turbo side (preventing proper vapor condensation), use hoses too small or runs too long (causing ring-sealing issues), have restrictive or missing baffles, or bypass the PCV system entirely and vent fumes to the atmosphere. BMS designed this kit specifically for the turbo Tacoma application to avoid all of that:
- Non-clogging triple-baffle air/oil separation — no service needed
- Free-flow anti-restriction design; large inlet/outlet with no tapering
- Hoses match OEM PCV diameter so flow rate is maintained throughout
- Retains factory fully closed-loop PCV operation (no vapor to atmosphere)
- Mount location minimizes line length and retains the factory PCV hose
- 100% CNC-machined from solid high-grade aluminum, zero welding
- Anodized black aluminum, made in the USA & guaranteed for life

Optional Transparent Can Base
Choose the transparent can base to see the contents at a glance — quick checks on oil level, contamination, and sludge buildup without opening the can.

⚠️ Please note about the transparent (clear) can base:

Hybrid models do NOT have a transparent can option. The clear base is available for non-hybrid engines only — the hybrid kit uses the billet aluminum (slightly shorter) can.

Not for cold climates: the transparent can base is not suitable for use in regions where temperatures frequently drop to 32°F (0°C) or below. If you live somewhere that gets that cold, choose the billet aluminum base.

Does it fit my hybrid?
Yes — select the Hybrid engine option. Note the hybrid kit uses a slightly shorter billet can and does not offer the transparent base.
How hard is the install?
About 10 minutes, all hardware included, and it's 100% reversible.

How do I empty it?
Unscrew the base or use the 1/8" NPT drain plug to drain captured oil with the rest of your used oil at every oil change.
Can I run the clear can in winter?
No — the transparent base isn't suitable where temps frequently hit 32°F (0°C) or below. Choose the billet aluminum base for cold climates.
