DV8 V1 License Plate Relocation Bracket for Capable Bumper - 2021+ Bronco

I installed the “DV8 V1 License Plate Relocation Bracket for Capable Bumper” on a 2023 Bronco Wildtrak and the result speaks for itself. Extremely well made in steel; it feels like it adds protection to the existing skid plate, which is bolted to the steel bumper. This bracket fits up and in between the steel bumper and skid plate. It requires careful loosening of two bolts, with washers attached to be able to slide the bracket up then, pull toward the driver side to lock in place. Afterward, retighten the two bolts to fully connect the bracket between the bumper and skid plate. Instructions are good but a word of caution: it is a bit challenging to slide a box wrench up to loosen the two bolts. And, since the washers are connected to the bolts but do not slide off you need to loosen the bolt enough to push the wobbling washer against the steel bumper in order o slide the license plate bracket up to tighten it in place. I loosened one bolt too much and it dropped out with washer the attached washer. It is challenging to get the bolt and washer back in the correct position to retighten so go slow. Loosen bolt and check, loosen and check etc, a little at a time. These brackets are sturdy as you can imagine and look great. Glad I removed the dealer installed license plate that was screwed into the plastic grill valance. Now, the Wildtrak’s black honeycomb distinctive grille can be seen. I recommend the DVR V1 relocation bracket! I’ve installed on my Bronco DV8 pinch weld covers black D-ring shackles and crash bar end caps, All have make the Bronco appearance so much better by covering over unsightly parts and adding to the look of the Bronco. My experience with DV8, across the board, is outstanding.
