Lower Front Recovery Points for the 2025+ Toyota 4Runner
Frame-mounted. Sold as a pair. 11,000 lb WLL each — built for real recoveries on the 6th Gen 4Runner.
Your Front End Deserves a Real Recovery Anchor
Most factory tow hooks on the 4Runner bolt to the bumper. That's fine for gentle nudges — but when you're stuck at an angle and a recovery strap yanks sideways, bumper-mounted points transfer that load to sheet metal. The NYTOP Lower Front Recovery Points mount directly to the frame rails, where that force belongs.
Sold as a pair — driver and passenger side — these are designed to be used together with a recovery bridle, spanning both points to distribute the load evenly and keep your vehicle tracking straight during a pull. At 11,000 lbs WLL each, you've got serious capacity in a package that installs without drilling or cutting.
Fits every trim level of the 2025+ 6th Generation Toyota 4Runner — TRD Off-Road, TRD Pro, Limited, Trailhunter, and base SR5.

11,000 lb WLL — Tested, Not Just Claimed
The NYTOP Lower Front Recovery Points are TIG welded from 5/8-inch high-strength steel and validated through FEA (Finite Element Analysis) before going to production. Each point carries a Working Load Limit of 11,000 lbs — and they're sold in pairs so you're always using them as a matched set.
The powder coat finish — available in Red or Black — resists corrosion from mud, water, and trail debris. The "NYTOP" badge is machined into the edge, not a sticker.
Standard 3/4-inch D-ring and soft shackle compatibility means these work with whatever recovery gear you're already running.

Always Use a Bridle on the Front
When recovering from the front, a single-point pull creates a rotational force on the vehicle — pulling one corner harder than the other. Using a recovery bridle across both lower front points equalizes that load and keeps the recovery running straight.
That's why these are sold as a pair. Two points, one bridle, full-width frame load distribution. It's the correct way to rig a front recovery on a solid-axle-style independent suspension vehicle.
Bridle not included — but any standard recovery bridle rated for your vehicle's weight will work with these 3/4-inch attachment points.

⚙️ Installation — Straightforward Bolt-On
The NYTOP Lower Front Recovery Points mount directly to the frame rails — no cutting, no drilling, no bumper removal. All mounting hardware is included. Torque all bolts to 75 ft-lbs (101 Nm).
Sold as a pair — driver and passenger side included in one order. We recommend using both with a recovery bridle for front recoveries.
⚠️ Important: We recommend the use of a bridle while using these recovery points in off-road situations to distribute recovery forces evenly across both frame-mounted points.
⚠ WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including steel dust, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer, and other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
Frequently Asked Questions
|
Does this fit all 2025+ 4Runner trims? Yes — fits every 6th Gen trim including TRD Off-Road, TRD Pro, Limited, Trailhunter, and base SR5. No modifications required.
|
How many recovery points come in the box? Two — driver and passenger side. This is a pair listing; both points are included in one order.
|
|
What's the Working Load Limit? 11,000 lbs each. TIG welded 5/8-inch high-strength steel construction, validated through FEA. Never exceed the rated capacity; always match to recovery gear ratings.
|
Do I need a bridle? We strongly recommend it. A recovery bridle spans both front points and equalizes the pull — without one, a single-point front recovery applies uneven rotational force to the vehicle. Bridle not included.
|
|
What size D-ring or shackle fits? Standard 3/4-inch bow shackles (D-rings) and soft shackles. Works with virtually all aftermarket recovery gear in this common size.
|
Frame mount or bumper mount? Frame mount. Bolts directly to the frame rails — not the bumper. Recovery forces route through the vehicle's structural steel, keeping the bumper completely out of the load path.
|
|
Is any drilling or cutting required? No. Drop-in bolt-on installation. All hardware is included. Torque to 75 ft-lbs (101 Nm).
|
What's the difference between the front and rear recovery points? The front lower points are sold as a pair for bridle-based front recoveries. The rear point is sold individually for rear recovery. See the Rear Recovery Point →
