This topo theme is popular in the off-road community if you can get your hands on the right designs and templates. We are covering the plain, easy to damage plastic door cards in some topological map vinyl overlays.
This material is specially designed to stick to textured plastic. It's easy to install and can cover up minor imperfections and discolorations.

See overview / install video above. NOTE: All topo vinyls are shipped in tubes to prevent damage. Prior to install, lay out all of these items and make sure they are flat prior to install.
You will want to do this in 75-85 degree weather. Stay in the shade unless it is a little on the cool side.

Prep by cleaning them thoroughly. You can use isopropyl alcohol, however if it is cold or humid, please wait a few minutes to make sure that they area is dry.
Do a DRY INSTALL, but be careful not to crease the vinyl. This material is pretty forgiving if installed under the right temperatures. You can lift the vinyl multiple times to reposition. Once the alignment is correct, push out the air with your fingers. Use firm pressure to activate adhesive for the final pass. If it is cooler outside, use heat to activate the adhesive as well.
So this is my second try with these. The first time I just couldn't get them to stick. Kept having to pull them up and ended up stretching the vinyl too much. This time I used another adhesive promoter (primer adhesive promoter wipes) and they made a huge difference. I didn't have luck using the 3M sticks on the overlays the first time or getting some other trim pieces (bought elsewhere) to stick. Once on correctly, they look great. Definitely add flare and cover up any blemishes you may have in that area. After getting them on I thought I would be able to still slide in the plastic door handle storage boxes (shown in pics). Unfortunately, I was wrong. The back of the box sits on top of part of the vinyl on all four doors and it started to damage the vinyl making it bubble. Learned my lesson. Now I'm going to have to attempt this for a third time and not use the storage boxes.
Did both the front and back with the color badlands orange. They just have to work on shipping. It takes atlease 2 weeks to get what you ordered.
I already had the b pillar topo, so easy decision to add these on the interior. I always thought the interior looked really dark. Adding these picked it up. My truck theme is race red and white.
Install was a breeze! I had done the front doors and had to complete the look by adding the back doors!
