Outer Grab Handle Stripe Overlays (EZ Apply)
This was a highly requested item and we wish it didn't take us so long to get around to. Some Bronco's are not equipped with a bright orange or blue stripe on their grab handles. Others just would like to switch up those colors a bit.
Our overlays allow you to do just this. Add some color or change up the colors. Please watch the video as we document the amount of coverage and that this was originally designed for those with plain handles.
You can see these inlays from outside the vehicle with the windows up.
These were mainly designed for those who have grey handles. There is a slot on the lead edge of the handle that cannot be covered with vinyl very easily. We have opted to keep the installation DIY friendly and not force you to deal with the small slot. That is why this version is called the EZ Apply version. Ships with 2 sets of overlays. You only need to use one, but we don't like our customers to be stranded without a backup.
NOTE: Badlands Orange is the closest vinyl color we could find to the interior of the Badlands. In certain light it looks very similar. In darker light it looks a little lighter, but is much closer than a standard orange. Badlands Grey is close to the dash color. Please see photos.
INSTALLATION
Clean the application area and apply the vinyl using a dry installation. Make sure the area is clean and free of dust, debris, dirt, Armor All, etc.
Some will choose to clean the application area with rubbing alcohol which is okay.
"Rubbing alcohol will not damage car paint if it is diluted to between 10% and 15%. Since rubbing alcohol evaporates quickly, it doesn't damage car paint."
Make sure the installation area is completely dry before attempting an install.
Try doing the install in the shade so it doesn't heat up the vinyl rapidly. Keeping a hair dryer or heat gun around is recommended. Dry and wet install options are noted in the video.

This may be my applying skills but on the bottom of the handles I see a sliver of blue still. I am going to pull it off and use a heat gun to see if I can get better coverage. It is probably just a skill problem with the installer! Quality product.

The stickers were very easy to apply. I actually took my handle off to do it, but you could probably do it with them on the Bronco
Couldn’t stand that Wildtrak Blue. Now it’s all gone, except for the stitching in the seats. Also bought center grab bar pieces. These were very easy to install. I recommend taking the handles off the vehicle and doing install in the sun.
Very nice vinyl stickers, love that you get a couple extra just in case you mess up....
