KC makes two different square Era 4 lights, and the covers are not interchangeable. The Era 4 Mini is the newer, smaller light; the Era 4 is the original full-size light. Check the part number on your KC cover (or the light itself) against the table below — an Era 4 Mini overlay will not fit an Era 4 cover, and an Era 4 overlay will not fit a Mini cover.

KC’s new Flex Era 4 Mini is the compact, square little sibling of the Flex Era 4 — small enough for bumpers, fog pockets and ditch light spots where the full-size light will not fit. It ships with a black cover with a yellow KC logo. We print and cut overlays for that cover so your lights match your bumper, your pillar, or your whole build.

Watch a dry install on the KC Flex Era 4 Mini cover (part #5220). The dry method is quicker, but it gives you one shot at placement, so it is best for people who have installed vinyl before.

New to Vinyl? Wet Install Is Still the Best Method
If this is your first overlay, we recommend a wet install — it lets you slide the overlay around and line it up perfectly before it grabs. This video shows a wet install on a similar KC light cover; the same steps apply to your Era 4 Mini cover.
Clean the cover with a wax-free quick detailer and microfiber.
Spray the cover and the sticky side of the overlay with application fluid (or soapy water).
Float the overlay into position and align it.
Squeegee out the fluid and bubbles from the center out.
Use heat and your fingers to settle the curved areas.
Installation Tips
Ideal install temperature is 75-85°F. If it is hot out, install in the shade; if it is cool, warm the cover and overlay slightly. Clean the cover, spray both surfaces with StickerFab Application Fluid or soapy water (1 drop of dish soap per cup of water), align, then squeegee out the fluid.

Is this for the Era 4 or the Era 4 Mini? This listing is the Era 4 Mini (cover part #5220), the newer, smaller light. The original full-size Era 4 uses part #5325 and has its own listing — use the size table at the top of this page to jump to it.
Is the KC cover included? No. These are vinyl overlays only. You need the KC cover for your light, sold separately.
How do I install them? A wet install is the easiest for first-timers: clean, spray with application fluid, align, squeegee, then heat the curved areas. Our dry install video is coming soon for experienced installers.
