SpeedStrap 2" Big Daddy Weavable Recovery Tow Strap
The Big Daddy 2″ Weavable Recovery Tow Strap is a metal-free tow strap with a unique design that is rated at 14,000 lbs breaking strength. Simply create a loop at both ends and weave it back through itself. Just wrap, weave, and pull! When you’re done, unweave it and store it for next time.
The unique construction is what gives the Big Daddy Weavable Recovery Tow Strap its strength. Rather than being sewn together, all the fibers are actually interwoven for the length of the tow strap. The 50′ Big Daddy Weavable Recovery Strap is rated to pull up to 14,000lbs, while still being small enough size to fit under the seat or in a small storage compartment. The weavable design means you can wrap it around almost anything – No need to use metal shackles or knots that you can’t undo.
The Big Daddy 2″ Weavable Recovery Tow Strap is available in 20′ or 30′ lengths, and is most commonly used for Jeeps, Trucks, and Buggies!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Wrap– one end of the strap around an axle, through a shackle, or around any solid tow point.
Weave– the end of the strap back through the interwoven loops that run throughout the length of the strap. You can also adjust the length of the strap this way if you want to make it shorter! We recommend at least 4-6 weaves when pulling a vehicle. The more weaves you make, the better the pull strength!
Pull!– Give the strap a good tug to set the weave. The strap uses the friction of the weave to create a non-slip grip. When recovering a vehicle, make sure to pull up all the slack before you start, then hit the gas and watch as this recovery strap goes to work!
When you’re done, simply unweave the strap at both ends and stow your Weavable Recovery Strap for next time!
Definitely pull your doorsills off to apply the sticker.
They want just a little stretch to fit properly, so go slow and keep tension. The skinny side is really tricky because it stretches a lot easier than the top.
The center insert is slightly undersized. I would prefer if it went all the way to the edge, covering the entirety of the silver inlay.
Perfectly sized and goes on easy. The texture really pops. I'll need chrome deletes to finish the look but I'm nearly there. Not 100% sure it looks how I want it, might try 3d black background next time. These are carbon silver with matte black stars.
