Clean all areas with degreaser, then alcohol — remove every trace of oil or grease
Do NOT use silicone-based cleaners before installing
Apply the vinyl, working out air bubbles as you go
Post-heat all areas to 185°F as the final step to lock in adhesion

⚙️ Prep & Install Notes
If you've ceramic-coated the interior of your vehicle, this vinyl will NOT stick — if the surface still looks shiny after cleaning, it likely won't bond. Clean thoroughly with degreaser and alcohol, avoid silicone-based cleaners entirely, and finish with a 185°F post-heat on every panel. All door skins are cut with a 1/16" to 3/4" offset to prevent lifting edges. Please visually inspect all vinyl before installing.
Note: Standard designs ship within 5-7 business days. Custom prints can take up to three weeks for production and delivery. Orders cancelled after 24 hours are subject to a 10% cancellation fee since custom prints go into production right away.
FAQ
Will these work if I've ceramic coated my interior? No — ceramic coating prevents the vinyl adhesive from bonding. If the plastic still looks shiny after cleaning with degreaser and alcohol, it likely won't stick.
Do I need the JBL speaker cutout option? Only if your 4Runner has the upgraded JBL audio system with speakers built into the door panel. Select "Yes with JBL Speakers" at checkout if that applies to your build.
Can I get a custom design? Yes — select Custom Designs at checkout and email support@tacovinyl.com with your artwork. Custom prints take up to three weeks for production and delivery.
Do I need to install these myself? No professional install required — our video above walks through the full process, and any local vinyl/wrap shop can install them if you'd rather have it done for you.
