3 piece design works for both vehicles that have the B&O center channel dash speaker and those that don't. For those with the B&O speaker, you will just use the larger outer speakers. Re-use the center portion to hold change or whatever you want. You don't have to mount it where the center bin would normally go.
NOTE: The newest version doesn't go all the way to the ends so it doesn't interfere with accessories. The last inch is used as a mounting surface for long rails and other accessories.
