The 4DTech Auto Start/Stop Eliminator permanently turns off the auto start/stop system on your 2020-2024 Ford Explorer. It memorizes your preference, so the system stays disabled on every start — no button press needed each time you drive.
This is a true plug-and-play module. It installs inline at the factory start/stop switch, does not void your warranty, keeps your factory remote start working, and is fully reversible if you ever want to return to stock.
Simply insert between factory wire harness and back of the black gateway module (NOT THE DIAGNOSTIC PORT) tucked up inside the dash. This gateway module is up inside the dash above the brake pedal switch (blue connector in video below). Although no disassembly or tools are required, it does take a few minutes of effort to install.
