The Baja Designs Squadron 2.0 A-Pillar Ditch Light Kit puts the next-generation Squadron platform on the 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020+ Gladiator JT in the ditch light position. The vehicle-specific brackets mount to the JL/JT factory A-pillar locations without drilling, and the Spot beam optic is selected specifically for the forward throw a ditch-position light needs to fill the lateral shadow zones that headlights leave behind on trail.
Two light tiers and two wiring options give you four configurations to match your build. The Sport 2.0 (3,200 lumens / 30W) is the right choice for most builds — excellent output at a lower price point. The Pro 2.0 (5,921 lumens / 65W) delivers maximum output for those who push harder. The Standard harness includes a toggle switch for manual on/off. The Upfitter harness integrates directly with the JL/JT factory upfitter switch panel — no toggle needed, cleaner install.

FAQ
Do I need the Upfitter version if my JL/JT has factory upfitter switches?
Only if you want your ditch lights controlled through the factory switch panel without a toggle. If you prefer a dedicated toggle or are running a switch panel like sPOD, the Standard version works fine. Upfitter version requires factory-equipped JL/JT upfitter switches.
Why Spot beam for a ditch light?
A-pillar lights are positioned above and to the sides of the headlights, aimed forward at an angle to fill the dark zones immediately to the left and right of the vehicle. Spot beam throws light farther forward from that elevated angle, giving you more usable reach into those zones than a wide beam would.
Sport 2.0 or Pro 2.0 for trail use?
Sport 2.0 is excellent for most trail builds — 3,200 lumens in the ditch position is a significant upgrade. Pro 2.0 is for builds where maximum ceiling matters: fast desert, remote backcountry, or when you simply want the best output available. Both use the same spot optic and mounting hardware.
Does this include uService lens swap capability?
Yes — both Sport 2.0 and Pro 2.0 feature uService clip-in reflectors and field-replaceable lenses. You can swap the beam pattern without removing the lights from the brackets.

The Squadron 2.0 features an integrated 9-color selectable backlight. Drivers can toggle between red, green, blue, magenta, cyan, amber, yellow, pink, and white, all configurable through the included harness.
