The Squadron Sport, Rebuilt From the Inside Out
The Baja Designs Squadron 2.0 Sport is a complete redesign of the most trusted compact LED pod in the off-road market. Every element has been upgraded: next-generation optics increase raw output to 3,200 lumens at 30W — a 35% jump over the previous generation — with a refined beam pattern that throws light farther and wider while reducing wasted spill. The result is more usable illumination, exactly where you need it.
The new gloss-black aluminum housing adds a bold, modern look while the RGBW backlight gives you nine selectable colors to personalize your setup. Internal updates include clip-in reflectors that stay locked during lens swaps, a redesigned gasket for improved long-term sealing, a new mounting bracket with greater vertical adjustability, and a rugged 4-pin Deutsch connector for enhanced wiring durability. The uService design means if you ever want to swap optics or replace a lens, the whole light doesn't come off the vehicle — just the components. Backed by Baja Designs' 30-day satisfaction guarantee and limited lifetime warranty.

Squadron 2.0 Pro vs. Sport - Which Should You Choose?
The Sport (this listing) is the right choice for most builds - 3,200 lumens at 30W with excellent performance at a lower price point. The Pro delivers higher output for those who need maximum performance on demanding terrain or want to push further into zone 4. If you're building a dedicated off-road rig and performance ceiling matters, the Pro is worth the step up. For most street/trail dual-use builds, the Sport hits the sweet spot. FAQ
Which optic should I choose?
If you drive fast in open desert or need maximum reach, choose Spot. For mixed trail and road use, Driving/Combo is the most versatile. Wide Cornering fills in the near-field edges for tight technical trails. Work/Scene is a floodlight — best for camp and recovery use where distance doesn't matter.
Clear or Baja Amber?
Clear gives you the brightest raw output at 5000K white. Baja Amber trades a little brightness for better penetration in dust, fog, and rain — the warm light reflects less off particles in the air. If you run in desert dust or coastal fog regularly, Amber is worth it.
Do I need the harness version?
If you're starting from scratch with no existing wiring, get the harness version — it includes everything for a complete install. If you're wiring into a switch panel, fuse block, or existing harness, the No Harness version saves money and clutter.
What is uService?
uService means lenses and clip-in reflectors are field-replaceable. You can swap optic patterns without removing the light from the vehicle, and replace damaged lenses without buying a new light.
How does this compare to the original Squadron Sport?
The 2.0 is a complete redesign — 35% more output (3,200 vs ~2,400 lumens), refined beam pattern with less wasted spill, new RGBW backlight, Deutsch connector, improved gasket sealing, better reflector retention, and a new mounting bracket. Same compact form factor, meaningfully better performance.
The Next Generation of Baja Designs Lighting
 |
High Output Performance
The Squadron 2.0 Sport produces 3,200 lumens at 30W. Next-generation optics throw light farther and wider while minimizing wasted spill, delivering more usable illumination exactly where you need it.
For drivers demanding maximum output, the Squadron 2.0 Pro throws 5,921 lumens at 65W a 41% increase in power over previous generation. Both configurations operate on 12-36V systems and are available in harness and non-harness pair options.

 |
Color Selectable Backlight
The Squadron 2.0 features an integrated 9-color selectable backlight. Drivers can toggle between red, green, blue, magenta, cyan, amber, yellow, pink, and white, all configurable through the included harness. Color settings are retained when the light is powered off, so your setup is always ready when you are.
