Outer Grab Handle Stripe Overlays (Full Coverage)

This was a highly requested item and we wish it didn't take us so long to get around to.  Some Bronco's are not equipped with a bright orange or blue stripe on their grab handles.  Others just would like to switch up those colors a bit.

Our overlays allow you to do just this.  Add some color or change up the colors.  Please watch the video as we document the amount of coverage and that this was originally designed for those with plain handles.

You can see these inlays from outside the vehicle with the windows up.

This listing requires a little bit more work to get the outer overlays to fully cover the handle color.  Please see our video.  Should you want to try a slightly easier install with less coverage, please see our "EZ Apply" listing.  Those are mainly to work with the plain, grey handles.

Ships with 2 sets of overlays.  You only need to use one, but we don't like our customers to be stranded without a backup.

NOTE:  Badlands Orange is the closest vinyl color we could find to the interior of the Badlands.  In certain light it looks very similar.  In darker light it looks a little lighter, but is much closer than a standard orange.  Badlands Grey is close to the dash color.  Please see photos.

Install in a 75-85 degree ENVIRONMENT.

Clean the application area and apply the vinyl using a dry installation.  Make sure the area is clean and free of dust, debris, dirt, Armor All, etc.

Some will choose to clean the application area with rubbing alcohol which is okay.

"Rubbing alcohol will not damage car paint if it is diluted to between 10% and 15%. Since rubbing alcohol evaporates quickly, it doesn't damage car paint."

Make sure the installation area is completely dry before attempting an install.

Keeping a hair dryer or heat gun (low heat)around is recommended to increase adhesion.  Heat and pressure activates the adhesive.

Use of optional 3M primer pens can increase adhesion.

Installation of the full coverage stripe overlay is the same as the printed series in the following video.

    Look good

Overall grab handle decals looked good and somewhat easy to install. Had difficulty with console grab handle. Decal would not form to upper curved surface smoothly. Had some deformation that is visible.

    No BRONCO Letters?

I received the stripes for my handles, but no Bronco Letters?

    Love these !

I love how good these look for such a good price. Turned my Outerbanks blue into white like the rest of my bronco. Didn’t even have to remove them to apply the stickers.

    Great color change.

My Cyber Orange Bronco with factory blue grab handles looks fantastic with the Orange kit. It definitely meets the "Full coverage" part of the description, and a little bit more. I used an exacto knife, eyeglass screwdriver set, and a small trim tool kit to install. It covers all of the OEM blue and a bit more. I've got the tools but my hands aren't steady enough to trim it down, so I just left it alone. It looks awesome from 5 feet away. Most passengers don't even notice.

    Looks good!

I’m sure these overlays will be perfect, unfortunately I can’t comment any further as I’m still waiting for my bronco to be delivered. But as far as the quality, just by looking and feeling them it’s easy to see they are high end. I’m excited to install them when I take delivery of my Bronco.
