What are the power gains on a stock 4Runner? Up to +60 wheel horsepower (about 75 hp at the crank) on a completely stock 2.4L turbo running pump gas (91+ octane). More with bolt-ons, higher octane, or E85 blends.
Does it fit the hybrid i-FORCE MAX 4Runner? Yes. This JB4 fits both the standard 2.4L turbo and the i-FORCE MAX hybrid 4Runner. The TRD Pro and Trailhunter (hybrid-only) trims are covered, right alongside every non-hybrid trim.
Will this work on my locked ECU? Yes. The JB4 works between engine sensors and the ECU — it never accesses, flashes, or flags the ECU itself, so a locked ECU is no obstacle.
