Frame-Mounted Rear Recovery Point for the 2025+ Toyota 4Runner
Built for real recoveries — 10,000 lb rated, TIG welded 5/8" steel, mounts to the frame so your bumper stays straight.
Built for the Trail. Engineered for the Frame.
When you're stuck in the mud at an angle, the last thing you want is your bumper bending under recovery load. The NYTOP Rear Recovery Point mounts directly to the 4Runner's frame — not the bumper — giving you a true structural anchor rated to 10,000 lbs Working Load Limit.
Constructed from 5/8-inch high-strength steel and TIG welded for maximum integrity, this recovery point accepts standard 3/4-inch D-rings or soft shackles so it works with the gear you already own. Included spacer plates let you dial in the exact mounting position for your setup, and all hardware is in the box.
Fits every trim level of the 2025+ 6th Generation Toyota 4Runner — TRD Off-Road, TRD Pro, Limited, Trailhunter, and base. No cutting, no fabrication.

Why Frame-Mount Matters
Most factory tow hooks and aftermarket recovery tabs bolt to the bumper. That's fine for mild pulls — but when you're angled in a ditch and a strap yanks sideways, a bumper-mounted point transfers all that force to sheet metal.
The NYTOP attaches to the frame rail itself, routing recovery forces through the strongest part of the vehicle's structure. Pull from any angle — the bumper doesn't care because the load never touches it.
At 11 lbs and roughly an hour of installation time, it's one of the best insurance policies you can bolt to your 4Runner before heading into the backcountry.

⚙️ Installation — About 1 Hour
The NYTOP Rear Recovery Point mounts directly to the frame with all included hardware. Torque bolts to 75 ft-lbs (101 Nm). Spacer plates are included to adjust mounting position as needed.
⚠️ Important: You must remove the wiring clip located above the recovery point mounting location before installation. The clip is retained and re-used after the recovery point is installed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this fit all 2025+ 4Runner trims? Yes — the NYTOP Rear Recovery Point fits all trim levels of the 6th Generation 2025+ Toyota 4Runner, including TRD Off-Road, TRD Pro, Limited, Trailhunter, and the base SR5. No modifications required.
How many do I need for both sides? This listing is for one (1) recovery point. To equip both the driver and passenger side, add two to your cart — one for each side.
What size D-ring or shackle does it accept? The recovery point is designed for standard 3/4-inch bow shackles (D-rings) and soft shackles. Most aftermarket recovery shackles in this common size will fit without modification.
Is this a frame mount or bumper mount? Frame mount. The NYTOP bolts directly to the frame rail — not the bumper. This is intentional: it routes recovery forces through the vehicle's structural steel, protecting the bumper from deformation under load.
What is the Working Load Limit? The Working Load Limit (WLL) is 10,000 lbs. TIG welded 5/8-inch high-strength steel construction. Always use recovery gear rated for the load and never exceed the rated capacity.
What hardware and tools do I need? All mounting hardware is included in the box. You'll need a torque wrench to tighten to the specified 75 ft-lbs (101 Nm). Installation takes approximately one hour. A trim panel removal tool may help for the wiring clip step.
What's that note about a wiring clip? There is a wiring clip above the recovery point mounting location that must be removed before installation. It can be re-installed after the recovery point is in place. This is a straightforward step covered in the install guide.
Do I need to modify my bumper? No. The NYTOP Rear Recovery Point is designed to mount behind and below the factory bumper. No cutting, no drilling into the bumper, and no bumper removal required for installation.
