The prismatic tail light that completely transforms the rear of your Wrangler
Most tail light upgrades for the Jeep Wrangler JL just smoke the lens and call it a day. AlphaRex took a different path. The NOVA-Series Prismatic LED Tail Lights are an all-new optical design built from the ground up - eight trapezoidal prisms that catch light, refract it, and throw a true three-dimensional presence out the back of your JL or JLU. When the brakes hit, all eight prisms light up in deep, saturated red. When you drop into reverse, the bottom four prisms shift over to crisp white. In between, a diffuser lens tube runs a sequential amber turn signal that looks like it belongs on a vehicle three times the price.
The outer LED tube is where the show really starts. Surround lighting that wraps the entire housing gives the NOVA its unmistakable 3D parking light effect, and the signature AlphaRex activation sequence kicks off every time you flip the parking lights on. It is not a subtle upgrade, but it is a refined one - the kind of modification that makes other Jeep owners stop you at gas stations and ask what they are looking at. OE-grade housing, sealed against the elements, and engineered to fit your JL or JLU without fighting you through the install.

Which Option Do I Need?
Your Wrangler came from the factory with one of two tail light setups, and that determines which option you need.
-
For Stock Halogen Tail Lights - direct plug-and-play. No adapter, no extra wiring. If your factory tail lights are basic bulbs behind a red lens, this is you.
-
For Stock LED Tail Lights - includes the arx602011 LED converter harness. This option is also required if your JL is equipped with BLIS (Blind Spot Monitoring System), regardless of whether your factory tail lights are halogen or LED.
Not sure which you have? Walk around to the back of your Jeep and take a close look at your factory tail lights. If you see multiple distinct LED elements (segmented lighting, separate brake and running light sections), you likely have factory LEDs. If the tail lights look like a traditional bulb behind a single red lens, you have halogen. When in doubt, or if your JL has BLIS, go with the LED option - the converter will not harm a halogen setup but is mandatory for LED and BLIS vehicles.

FAQ
How do I know if I have halogen or LED factory tail lights?
Look at the back of your Jeep with the lights off. Halogen tail lights typically show a single bulb behind a red lens. Factory LED tail lights have multiple distinct LED elements or segmented lighting sections. Check your window sticker or build sheet if you still are not sure - LED tail lights were an option package on many JL trims.
Does BLIS (Blind Spot Monitor) matter for installation?
Yes. If your Wrangler is equipped with BLIS, you need to select the "For Stock LED Tail Lights" option regardless of your factory tail light type. The arx602011 converter included with the LED option keeps the BLIS system communicating correctly after the upgrade.
What is the AlphaRex activation sequence?
Every time you engage the parking lights, the NOVA tail lights run a signature startup animation through the outer LED tube and prism array before settling into their steady-state pattern. It is a subtle but distinctive detail that sets AlphaRex lighting apart.
Are these sold as a pair?
Yes. Every order includes both the driver and passenger side tail lights - a complete pair ready to install.
