Installation
Ideal install temperature: 75-85°F. Clean the panel with a wax-free detailer and dry thoroughly before applying. Heat (especially for the upper piece) is important — use a heat gun or hair dryer to improve adhesion and help the vinyl conform to any panel contours.

Why do these panels scratch so easily? The Land Cruiser's seatbelt trim panels are soft plastic positioned exactly where the seatbelt buckle slides every time you get in or out. Over time, even careful owners end up with visible scuffs — it's a geometry problem, not a carelessness problem. This overlay sits in front of that plastic and takes the damage instead.
Will the lines match between upper and lower if I order both? We align them as precisely as possible, but the small physical gap between the two sections means a perfectly seamless edge-to-edge match isn't always achievable. The topo line design minimizes how visible any offset is.
Does TruEnergy vinyl actually stick to textured plastic? Yes — TruEnergy is specifically formulated for low-surface-energy plastics that standard vinyl sometimes struggles to bond with. The Land Cruiser's seatbelt panels have a textured finish; this material handles that correctly.
Is this a permanent modification? No — it can be removed with mild heat without damaging the factory plastic.
Stickers are easy to install. I am not always good projects but this was a simple and quick job. I already had a couple seat belt scuffs so I am looking forward to the added protection.

Topographic Seatbelt Panel Protection install
I installed the Green Topo lines version of the Topographic Seatbelt Panel Protection on my 2024 GX Overtrail. I’m a complete amateur installing these type products.
It went well. The first one I had to slightly remove and re-center like 3 times; 3rd try lined up very well. The sticker does stretch some, and especially with a hair dryer to lightly heat it for the corners and a few minor wrinkles.
The rubber trim both front and back edges needs to be pulled loose, but it pushes back on very securely without issue, just like new.
I believe just about anyone could successfully install these. Great product.
