Standard vs HD Tune — Which Do You Need?
Standard Tune (883-26-160) — tuned for the standard Wrangler Rubicon platform. Fits Rubicon, Rubicon Deluxe, Rubicon X, Unlimited Rubicon variants, and Rubicon Xtreme.
HD Tune (883-26-158) — specifically tuned for the heavier Wrangler 392 (6.4L V8) and Wrangler 4xe (plug-in hybrid). The additional weight of the 392's V8 and the 4xe's battery pack require a stiffer, re-valved tune to deliver the same Live Valve performance as the standard kit delivers on lighter Wranglers.
If you have a 392 or 4xe — choose HD Tune. All other Rubicon Wranglers — choose Standard Tune.
