Protection Where It Matters Most
Your door sills see the worst of it — every foot in and out, every boot, every bag dragged across the edge. This kit lays a durable overlay right over that exposed painted lip so the scuffs land on the film instead of your factory finish. It's one of the smartest first upgrades on a brand-new truck: the added protection never hurts, and the topographic map pattern gives the sills a finished, purposeful look.
Sold as a set of four — two larger pieces for the front doors and two smaller pieces for the rears.
Choose Your Finish
3D Carbon (Black) — our most durable colored option. A premium, US-sourced textured carbon-fiber film that holds up to real-world abuse better than any standard color.
Matte Black — a clean, understated look. It protects the sill and can be swapped out affordably as it shows wear over time.
Clear (Rock Guard PPF) — genuine paint protection film. Invisible protection that keeps the factory sill exactly as it looks now, just tougher.
🧪 Not All Materials Are Created Equally
When you shop vinyl overlays, the material matters. We use premium, USA-made film — Dragon Wrap™ Carbon Fiber (3D Carbon) is a 5.6 mil calendered film with a clear, repositionable permanent acrylic adhesive on an air-egress liner. It offers excellent dimensional stability, outstanding outdoor durability, and up to 5-year outdoor life, rated excellent for water, humidity, and solvent resistance. The repositionable adhesive starts with a minimal initial bond that grows permanent, making large pieces far easier to apply. Minimum application temperature: 40°F.
Care: maintain the finish with standard textured-vinyl aftercare — a protectant like Armor All or 303 Aerospace Protectant is recommended. Do not use waxes of any type.
Easy DIY Install
Clean the sill area first, ideally in 70–80°F weather, out of direct sunlight and free of any wax. A 10–15% diluted rubbing-alcohol wipe is fine — it flashes off fast and won't harm paint. Then peel, position, and squeegee from the center out. Watch the full walkthrough on the left.
What vehicles does this fit? The 2024+ Toyota Land Cruiser and the 2024+ Lexus GX 550. Both share the same door sill shape, so one kit covers either.
How many pieces are in a set? Four — two larger fronts and two smaller rears, enough for all four doors.
Which finish is the most durable? Clear Rock Guard PPF and 3D Carbon are the toughest. The colored options still protect the sill but show wear a little sooner and are easy to replace.
Is the Clear option paint protection film? Yes — the Clear variant is genuine PPF (Rock Guard) for invisible protection.
Can I remove it later? Yes. The premium film uses a repositionable adhesive designed to come off cleanly when you're ready to swap or remove it.
How do I care for it? Use a standard textured-vinyl protectant such as 303 Aerospace or Armor All. Never use wax on the film.
