Unlock What Toyota Left on the Table in Your 4Runner
The COBB Accessport V3 is the most widely used ECU tuning solution in the enthusiast market — and for good reason. For the 2025+ Toyota 4Runner (Non-Hybrid), it replaces the conservative factory calibrations with more aggressive maps that extract real, measurable power from the i-FORCE engine without touching a wrench. Plug into the OBD-II port, follow the on-screen instructions, and your ECU is flashed in minutes. Uninstall is just as simple — the Accessport returns everything to factory state with a single menu selection.
This version also includes TCM (transmission) tuning, giving you control over shift points, shift firmness, skip-shift behavior, and torque limits. Choose from three TCM maps: Simulated Stock, OEM+ (sportier but refined), or Sport (performance-first). The Accessport itself mounts in-cabin, connects to your vehicle's data bus, and gives you a full-color gauge display for boost, throttle, and up to six live parameters at once. Data logging stores up to 10 hours of engine data for tuner review.
ECU Map Options
Stage 0 — baseline recalibration, no hardware mods required
Stage 1 (87/91/93 Oct.) — full power optimization for each fuel grade
Performance Tow — optimized calibration for towing applications
COBB OEM+ — moderately raised shift points, more responsive downshifts, increased torque limits. Sporty but refined.
COBB Sport — performance-first. Higher shift points, aggressive throttle response, maximum torque limit increases.

FAQ
Does this work on the 4Runner Hybrid (i-FORCE MAX)? No — this Accessport is for the non-hybrid 4Runner only. The i-FORCE MAX hybrid system requires a different part number.
Can I return my 4Runner to stock? Yes — the Accessport includes a simple Uninstall option from the main menu that reverts the ECU to exactly the factory calibration. You can also sell the Accessport after uninstalling.
Do I need a custom tune or will OTS maps work? OTS (Off The Shelf) maps work well for stock or lightly modified 4Runners on 87, 91, or 93 octane. Custom maps are available through COBB-licensed tuners if you have significant engine modifications.
What is the Gateway Bypass Harness for? It allows the Accessport to communicate with the ECU during initial installation and ROM recovery. Once the Accessport is installed and mapped, you only need it for recovery situations — not for everyday map switching.
