The inspiration behind this design was from the Japanese S207 vehicle. It has a strip of material that is painted which goes on top of the stock side skirt panel.
A little vinyl in the right places can really make your vehicle stick out compared to any stock vehicle! This is much cheaper and easier to apply than the actual JDM OEM item.
This material is durable and will last for years. I source the vinyl for these products from US suppliers. They are often made in the US or Europe. Material standards are high.
For the 3D Carbon material, do not apply wax. Just clean with normal soap and water. .
Clean the surface of the skirts. Use a soapy water mix and apply it to that area and the back of this product. The mixture allows you to slide the piece into the perfect location. Use your fingers to squeegee out the water once you have found the right position. A plastic squeegee can scratch the material. A hair dryer or heat gun can help evaporate the water out quicker and strengthen the adhesive bond. The DIY install will leave you proud of the work you've done. A great conversation piece as others will probably want to know how you did it all.
