This topo theme is popular in the offroad community if you can get your hands on the right designs and templates. We are covering the plain, easy to damage plastic door cards in some topological map vinyl overlays.
This material is specially designed to stick to textured plastic. It's easy to install and can cover up minor imperfections and discolorations.

See the overview / install video above. NOTE: all topo vinyls are shipped in tubes to prevent damage. Prior to install, lay out all of these items and make sure they are flat prior to install.
You will want to do this in 75-85 degree weather ideally. Stay in the shade unless it is a little on the cool side.

Prep by cleaning them thoroughly. You can use isopropyl alcohol, however if it is cold or humid, please wait a few minutes to make sure that they area is dry.
Do a DRY INSTALL, but be careful not to crease the vinyl. This material is pretty forgiving if installed under the right temperatures. You can lift the vinyl multiple times to reposition. Once the alignment is correct, push out the air with your fingers. Use firm pressure to activate adhesive for the final pass. If it is cooler outside, use heat to activate the adhesive as well.
