We found it easy to have a toothpick around for installation. You can clean the application area and make sure it is free of debris and wax.
Use your fingers and/or the toothpick to the place the pieces in the right areas. The toothpick can also be used to push and guide the vinyl. Run the toothpick all around the corners and center of the vinyl to make sure it is sticking properly.
