The Dongar Pro is the first and only parking-mode-enabled plug & play adapter on the market. This allows you to power devices like dashcams and rearview mirrors. It extends their recording time even when your vehicle is off.
It utilizes your auto-dimming rearview mirror as a power source for an easy, invisible, and truly plug-and-play dash cam setup—no messy hanging wires and no complicated fusebox installation.
Equipped with three versatile power modes – ignition, timed, and continuous – it allows you to safely power your dash cam, even when parked.
Mode 1:
IGNITION
Ignition Mode turns your dash cam on as soon as your car is on to record everything on the road. Once your car is turned off, your dash cam will also power down.
Mode 2:
TIMED
Timed Mode continues to power your device for up to 4 hours after you've parked to allow for peace of mind when you’re away from your vehicle for shorter periods of time. Use it to keep your dash cam running while you’re running errands, at dinner, or at the movies.
Mode 3:
CONTINUOUS
Continuous Mode provides multi-hour protection while your car is parked by keeping your dash cam running continuously after turning off your vehicle. For new and healthy batteries this can be up to 36 hours. In order to protect your battery, the adapter will automatically power off your dash cam when it senses a low voltage threshold has been hit.

NOTE TOYOTA SAFETY SENSE. Most Toyotas have a 12-Pin Safety Sense Connector that can easily be confused with your rearview mirror connection. Do not unplug this. Instead, search for the additional 10-Pin connector (under your plastic shroud), 12-Pin connector (behind your rearview mirror), or 5-Pin connector (in your roof cavity).
