Direct-Fit Magnetic Radar Detector Mount
Every radar detector is different. This mount is designed to adapt to the uneven surfaces on a detector housing with a three-layer mounting pad:

Layer 1: ultra-strong 3M adhesive grips the detector housing.

Layer 2: custom foam conforms to the detector's shape.

Layer 3: a steel magnetic plate indexes and secures the detector to the mounting base for stable, repeatable placement.
Because the hold is magnetic, you can pull the detector off and take it with you when you park, then drop it back on and it is right where you left it.
Built on the 20 Series Platform
This kit uses a 20mm Type-B base and a 2" DuraLock arm, part of Tackform's 20 Series platform built around the 20mm ball & socket system. It pairs with other 20 Series holders, so the same ecosystem that carries your phone can carry your detector.
Accent Kits — Make It Yours
Every mount comes standard in black. Choose a color in the Accent Kit Color selector and you get a colored set of billet aluminum hardware to swap in for the black knobs — Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, or Pink.
On 5" to 12" DuraLock tube arms you can swap the black accent ring for a colored one too. DuraLock arms in 2" to 3.5" lengths, all telescoping arms, and all 26 Series and 38 Series components take the colored knobs only — they are not compatible with accent rings.

Does it hold any radar detector?
It is designed to adapt to uneven detector housings with a three-layer adhesive, foam and steel-plate pad. Make sure you have a flat enough spot on the housing for the plate to stick. |
How does the detector attach?
The steel plate sticks to the detector housing with 3M adhesive, and the mount's magnet holds the plate. Lift the detector off whenever you want to take it with you. |
