Why Soft Shackles?
Soft shackles are made from UHMWPE synthetic rope instead of steel. They are light and easy to carry, quick to loop through a recovery point, and they will not rattle or dent your bumper the way a steel shackle can. Each shackle here comes with a protective sleeve to help the rope resist abrasion where it contacts edges, and the set comes with a storage bag so it lives neatly in the truck.

Rigging Basics
Stay within the working load limit, inspect the rope and sleeve for cuts, fraying or heat damage before each use, and replace a shackle that shows damage. Read the tag on each shackle and follow proper rigging practices for your recovery.

What is the difference between MBS and WLL? MBS is the load at which the shackle is expected to break. WLL is the much lower load it is rated to work at. Use the WLL when planning a recovery.
