Just so it's clear: "3D Carbon Fiber" is our name for a premium textured vinyl film — a flexible carbon-look overlay that conforms to your trim. It is not real carbon fiber and it's not a hard replacement part. You get the rich 3D carbon look (and scuff protection) at a fraction of the cost of a hard part.

Not All Materials Are Created Equal
We use premium vinyl with a repositionable permanent adhesive on an air-egress liner — forgiving to apply, dimensionally stable, and built to hold up over the long haul.
🔧 Installation
Install in 75–85°F weather. We recommend a dry install: clean the surface so it's free of any residue or protectants (like Armor All), apply the piece, and press it down firmly. The adhesive activates with heat and pressure, so light heat from a hair dryer or heat gun helps it conform.
For the 3D Carbon material, do not apply wax — clean with normal soap and water; 303 Aerospace Cleaner further enhances the finish.

I have a ton of stuff from StickerFab. This item just did not stick as well , sit correctly for my application. I wanted it to match the door sills... anyway.
Hello, we are sorry for your results. We do note on the installation that it should be between 75-85 degree weather and the use of heat and pressure is needed. It appears for where you live it is a high of 53 today.
Due to the nature of the trim (textured) the instructions are specific to the product. If you use heat and pressure when it is warmer, you may be able to save the install as long as it does not get dirty underneathe.
If you need a replacement, we just ask that you pay for shipping. You can keep it for a warmer day. Thanks.
