2021+ Bronco OS Lighting Spare Tire Wheel Ring Third Brake Light

Not only does this increase situation awareness for vehicles behind you, it looks great also. Double rows of LED output a bright, yet not overwhelming amount of light.

Designed to fit all Broncos including the Bronco Raptor. Put this on your Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, Heritage or Everglades.

Plug and play wiring attaches inside the tail gate. For Bronco Raptor, taps are required to install. See available add ons.

Installation

Remove spare tire. Slip the ring over the tire carrier with the LEDs facing outward. Situation the wiring on the left side of the so it can be routed inside the grommet of the tail gate.

Remove the plastic trim from the back of the tail gate using a trim tool on the left side, or your fingers on the top right corner. The left side of the trim piece has pops running vertically.

For all Broncos minus the Raptor, you will find a connector inside the tailgate. The two pin connector will plug and play into the supplied harness. Your wiring is done. Remount the tire now.

For Bronco Raptor owners, you will have to tap this wiring. Black with green is ground and yellow is the positive for the brake. It is not recommended that you use the blue wire as it is for the clearance lighting.

Bronco Raptor owners can also tap the line on the outside of the vehicle or disassemble the third brake light mount and tap the wires inside there for increased weather proofing.

The most weatherproof method is to run it into the tailgate though. Once you have completed the connection, your wiring is done. Remount the tire now.

Stealthy and looks great

I know 3rd brake ring lights catch some flack, but I think they look super stealthy - especially with the tinted plastic over the LEDs on this model. You can't see this thing when the lights are off and it's bright when you hit the brakes. Easy install. Easy to modify if you don't want to run the OEM brake light. Plug and Play.

I cut the main wire on this ring light where it splits into 2 connectors so that I could easily feed the wire through the existing taillight grommet. Then, I re-connected 1 of the connectors and plugged it into the OEM brake light point in the tailgate.

I also removed the OEM 3rd brake light and simply coiled the OEM wire up behind spare.
