Ford Bronco Oval Emblem Overlay Tint

Here's our new way of slightly modifying the OEM oval emblem on the back of the Ford Bronco.  This tint goes over the stock emblem and knocks out some of the chrome to make it all more subtle.

Choose from a variety of finishes to create your desired look.  Installs just like our other overlays.

Sold as a PAIR.  One product with backup.

NOTE:  This only goes OVER your OEM emblem.  You must have an OEM emblem in good condition to install this.

Instructions

Items you may want to have:

  • Detail Spray (without wax)
  • Microfiber Towel or Paper Towel
  • StickerFab Application Fluid or dish with soapy water (drop of dish soap + 1-2 cups of water)
  • Heat gun or hair dryer
  •

Clean the application area to prepare it for installation.  Do not use a spray with any type of wax in it.

A wet installation is recommended.  Use our application fluid or slightly soapy water on the back of the vinyl.  This will allow you to move the vinyl around and find the correct alignment.  Once aligned, use your fingers to push out the water/air.  Use light heat as needed to make sure that the overlay does not crease and adheres properly to the OEM emblem.

    Blacked Out Emblem

Easy install, just takes some patience. Used both overlays, using a heat gun the second time was a game-changer, so start with that! Happy with the turnout. Used Dark Smoke Stealth.

    Ford emblem

Black overlay looks great. Much easier and less cost than new black emblem.

    Love it

Well I love my bronco, I am not interested in advertising for ford. So this covers the Ford oval very nicely. I am grateful for the suggestion to use heat, because until you add the heat it's pretty wrinkly around the edges and I was worried that it ended up using the second one. But after applying heat and patience it all came out pretty smooth.

    Bang for your buck

I was on the fence between painting my emblem or just buying a new one. Only concern was the overlay was a touch too big (vertically) to get it to lay properly. I'm glad I did the wet application method so I could play with it while applying it, due to it wanting to fold on itself at the bottom but on the visible portion of the emblem verses tucking then folding like I was able to up top and on the sides. Overall great product and much cheaper the $60-$150 for a painted one.

Be patient, results will be awesome

Had trouble installing with wet method. I let it dry to a tack and tried it again using light heat gun. Success! Be patient, start at the top and work outwards.
